A couple weeks ago my family hosted a party hardy at the cabin... It was pretty rock-awesome. And it turns out that we had an animagus in our midst:
Who knew that little ol stryksie was both dog AND human? He pulled out a wicked fast transformation on us.
These may not be the most artistic and classy photos, but they do represent the accurate happenings of that day.
And now to my more current life:
Last week was just one of those weeks. Not bad, just... trying. In DancEnsemble we had a registrar from The Graham Company come and set a Martha Graham piece on us. Everyday we rehearsed from 3 to 6, 7 ish and then for a couple of Saturdays we practice from early o'clock to afternoon o'clock. The thing is... it's not even a hard dance. It's kinda ugly in my opinion too.
But it is a cool experience to have the core traditions from Martha Graham taught to us. I think we could have learned it in less time though. The teachers just didn't really come prepared. Ug.
I went rock climbing on Friday, which was rock-awesome. I could only climb the 5. 9 and lower rated walls because I'm a weakling but I could climb more than my date. Boo yah. I felt a little bad for him though. My arms are still sore. Looks like I'm in dire need of a P90X pounding.
Oh, and about a week ago I saw MOMIX at Kingsbury hall. If you don't know em, you should. The show was phenomenal. Check them out:

Don't be alarmed though.... here's fair warning that it's a bit odd.
I'm also searching for next year's housing. I really want to live in a house. I NEED TO MOVE! I'm sick of my apt. It's been great, but its time is spent. Thank you for doing your best Brookview (despite your leaky ceiling, broken shower head, stained carpet, freezing windows, broken toilet seat, cinderblock walls, oily cabinets, and leaky faucetS), I once loved you, but I've got to move on.
I just was on Fbook and saw a super awkward-height couple. The girl was a frillion times taller than the man. Good thing I'm short and I'll never have to worry about that. I count my blessings starting with that one.
I'm going snowboarding for the first time ever this Friday. SOLID. I am so so so so excited. Everyone says that your first time is the worst, and definitely the most embarrassing but all I really care about is whether I'll get battle wounds or not. I hope I do. It'll be rad. Plus... It's Free! Again, I have found another blessing in life- I'm a GIRL!!! So, on occasion boys ask me on dates= free entertainment.
This Saturday I'm going to Ririe-Woodbury's concert. It's always a hit or miss with modern concerts. Hopefully this one is good and hopefully I'll remember to update you on the outcome. We'll see.
It's late. I hate homework. Good Evening and Good Night.
