Random Tandem

I walked out of class to a flat tire one day so I walked home and this is what I saw... someone else had a rough time of it too: a broken sprinkler.

This is like the Jones of Clue games. There are lots more additions to it. Like Intrigue cards, Rumor Cards, a Theater Room, a Spa, etc. It's high tech.

Jon was having a hard time beating David at Chess. I had already lost to Jade earlier.

Ryan pretends to be nervous... it wasn't even his turn.
Peter= the best home teacher I've ever had. When I was sick he came over everyday to make sure I had everything I needed. And now that our stove/oven doesn't work he lets us use his ("as long as you pay taxes" say his roommates). Thanks!

Is it just me or does everyone feel like a tourist in Salt Lake? It's not a very homey kind of place. I would puke if I had to live there. But hey, to all those that can do it: Bravo. Cute carriage though.

Allie, Angela, Josh, and I went to a RirieWoodbury dance concert and I was astounded. They were a to the mazing.

On Qiana's Birthday we celebrated by playing Dalmuti, naturally, and eating food, naturally.

Jade and I at the Thriller concert. Good but not as good as Ririe. Oh well.

This is my brilliant roomie Jade. She half something. I get confused on what cuz she speaks like 5 languages. It's tough to keep straight folks.

This is Mary, who used to live with us and now lives back in Washington. She later dyed her hair Red and then back to Brown. I loved her! She thought I was 23 yrs old... I'm just so mature. HA!

This is Lauren, who happens to be perfect. She cleans and cooks and is smart. Every boy loves her of course :)

Especially this boy, her boyfriend: Seth. He was pretending to be a fetus for some reason. Hmmm.... ha. It was a pretty funny night.

Well... Peace out.

One Post About Three Things

Numero Uno:

President Monson came to BYU on Tuesday and gave a wonderful talk about learning from the lives of modern-day prophets. It was wonderful! Here are a few of the previous presidents' favorite foods (I learned more than just this though :)):
-Heber J. Grant: Bread and Milk
-George Albert Smith: Apple Pie
-David O. Mckay: Chocolates
-Joseph Fielding Smith: Sweet Pickles (Pres. Monson hates sweet pickles though)
-Harold B. Lee: Bread and Milk
-Spencer W. Kimball: Milk with date nut bread crumbled into it until it's thick (Pres. Monson thought this a bit strange too.)
-Ezra Taft Benson: Fresh Raspberries, he kept the presidency well stocked
-Howard W. Hunter: Alaskan Crab, he ran two red lights on his way to eat some once- but in all fairness, he was colorblind
-Gordon B. Hinckley: Pie and Ice Cream

I know the quality is poor but, that is President Monson speaking at the pulpit.

Below, the fifth person in from the left on the front row is also President Monson.

Numero Dos: Engagements!

SarahLeone Damstra and Scott Brunson are getting Married!
SarahLeone was my roommate last winter semester and she's fantastic! She cares about the small things in life that bring huge amounts of happiness to others. I'm so thrilled for the two of them. They will be married December 18th.

Callista Priest and Ben Welling are also getting married!
I've known Calli since 7th grade when we both had Mr. Weidmann's english class together. She and Ben are so sincerely kind to everyone that it just makes sense that they are engaged. Calli has an amazing ability to stay positive even when times are rough. They will be married on December 19th.

Numero Tres:

Shasie is havin another baby cakes next week!
What will she name her? (because it is a her ya know)
I can't wait!!!! Best of luck Shanamammanananmana!

Timpanogos Again!

This is the beautiful view of Emerald Lake from the summit. Last time I went it was still super iced over so you couldn't see much of it.

This picture is of the little shack at the summit. It was so foggy that, even though we were only 5 minutes away, we could barely see it.

This is the fog rolling over Timp as we were hiking up it. At the summit it was about 35 degrees- SO COLD!!!

I love that the plants grow out of rocks but they are still gorgeous. This little daisy is a prime example.

More plant life out of rocks. Stacia- this reminds me of some kind of floral wall hanging, and thus You also.

Corry was illegally picking flowers, such as these, on the way down.

The Timpanoake (or however you spell it) way had so many more wild flowers but it was longer.

Of course, there was random water everywhere.

And this next picture was my favorite of the whole day...
It looks better when it's bigger. It had these little bugs nesting it in on the right side which made me love it even more!

And of course I was hiking it with three amazing people pictured below:
Heather

Aunt Lori

And Corry!
