Pizzeria 712

Have you ever had squash pizza? Well, yes, yes I have. And it's divine. (And pricey) but mostly divine. It's on Orem State Street in that still-not-built yellow apartment complex thing. YUM. Try it and love it my friends. (They have potato pizza too!)

Well... it didn't work.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I decided, despite positive responses, not to do it. "IT" being a date post every once in a while. I'm really sorry and it could have been great too but... well... given my sarcastic nature and the fact that I don't write sarcasm well I think it would hurt some people's feelings. Especially if they don't know me that well. Maybe I'll just post after really great dates. Yeah. That's a great idea! Good job Sierra. Nice thinking. And to make this post more interesting, here are some pictures!!!!:

Preparing FHE lesson after a day of sweat from dance class
Work at way too early in the morning... and in the freezingness of outside
The first snow of the year with some roommates! Woot!
Another day of work at the Stadium
A fun tunnel we found at work
Happy T-Gives soon!

Dating Post?

Well, what it comes down to is that I think I have a really funny dating life. I mean, it has its ups and downs but in general it's pretty hilarious. So... I have a question: Is it too public if I post about it? Is that breaking an uncomfortable barrier or not? After all, usually people just sit and wonder about my dating life. I would just be making it easier for them if I did a weekly update right? And plus, I have no problem being explicit about it. You'd get it all. My questions, my joy, my confusion, my hope, my disappointment, everything. But not in an angry-girl sort of way. Just straight up. And you could even give me advice! I would love that in fact. But tell me, would it sound like an "I'm single, and I hate life" statement? PLEASE comment and let me know.
I added pictures because a post without pictures is boring.

Bear Lake, Lake Mead, Six Flags

So Ali Thomas is fantastic. She invited Jeri and I to her family's cabin at Bear Lake and it was a blast! So here are pictures of that adventure...

Me:

Myself, Jeri, and Ali after Le Beau's:

They were waiting for me patiently on the anchored raft while I played around on the Jet Ski:

Some late night Kareoke. I probably spelled that wrong...
Classic Trampoline Pictures:

So now the adventure switches... To Lake Mead!
Here are Fish and Ducks being friends. I think they just wanted us to feed them actually but we didn't.

The Gang: David, Theo, Jeri, and Jade:
Hoover Dam:
The sun was setting and it was gorgeous:
Trying to wakeboard, minimal success:

Yeah, Davey-boy even let me drive! And earlier I even pulled him wakeboarding. It's not like driving a boat is difficult but, we had to stay in this little alcove that didn't get affected by the wind quite so much and there were a lot of sandbars and rocks to maneuver.

Posing with Flash! at the Six Flags adventure!

Saw the sign, loved the sign.

Ice Cube sucker. You should try it sometime.

First Ride: The Tatsu! We were face-down the whole time! Ahhhh!

Waiting in line... The pole was covered with pennies... stuck on by gum. YUM.

Another Line:

Lots and lots of driving:

13 dates in 20 days for five dollars

So this summer we had a goal: May is for making friends, June is for dating them! We failed. But we got a full thirteen dates in before I got bored with the project.

So here's some documentation:

Watching a movie... at RC Willey.

I was cleaning white bass for a dinner date. Those things are evil! Their fins stab like knives.

Fire.
They tried to dress us as goths at the mall. It didn't work. Grant just looks too preppy.
Yeah, I went on a date with a black man. And no, that's not racist.

The beautiful sunset above... Salem Pond! ha ha ha. I think I'm so funny.

Guru's Kareokee night with sweet potato fries. Warning: They're not so good when they're cold.

My date with CJ, The Ukraine...ian. Couldn't understand half of what he said the whole time.

This was at the end of hiking "Indian Road", or at least we thought we were on the right trail for Indian Road. Still not sure.

More of that hike.

Marshmallow Roast. Problem: I call Jerica Jer sometimes and Grant calls his roommate Jared Jer. It didn't explain that well, but essentially they had the same nickname. It got confusing.

Jerica and Jared. Can anyone guess what they were dressed as? It's hard to guess...

We made Elk meat sloppy joes which were fantastic. David, the boy in the front only had two hours of sleep the night before so he was basically dead the whole time.

The hard part of dating is not the asking. I can say that because now I know. The hard part is finding something entertaining to do and then following through with it. Some of the dates were fun but I'm never doing that again. Not Ever.

Microwave Experiments

The Following Experiments Should NOT Be Done Without Supervision (CHAD)!

So, Jerica and I went to Walmart today and I was talking about how I watched peeps inflate in a microwave yesterday and then she told me all these other things that are awesome to watch...
#1: Soap (it smells nasty afterwards)

#2: Just some peeps (I think they are more fun to microwave than eat anyways)

#3: Gum wrappers (Definitely should not be done. I think it ruins microwaves. But it was fun to start a fire inside the micro anyhow)

#4: Grapes- what? you don't believe me? TRY IT! You have to cut the grape almost completely in 1/2 but still leave a tiny attachment of skin between the two sides. Then just lay it out, insides up, on a plate and put it in the micro. After a few seconds there is a mini fire on the grape. Cool stuff. After they burn they look like this...

Our apt. now reeks with all of these bizarre smells, but it was totally worth it. THE END.

Correlation: Winterish

First really good snow in a long while. Usually it's powdery stuff. This time it was prime snowball quality.

Cool sweater. fuzzy picture though- sorry.

Have YOU ever ziplined in winter. It's pretty slow comparatively. But still the same amount of fun.

First S-mobile drive/ride ever for Jerica

I think I talk a lot about dance but I don't have much to show for it. Here's something I guess. The embedded facebook video below the blog title is a different dance and I think I do a little bit better there.
